# Privacy policy - ChipRatio

ChipRatio is a static web application. The poker chip calculator runs in your browser. Chip counts, buy-ins, and results are computed on your device and are not uploaded to a ChipRatio application server, because there is no application server that receives that data.

## Information stored on your device

To remember your last chip set, theme, and related preferences between visits, ChipRatio writes a small JSON blob to your browser’s localStorage under a ChipRatio-specific key. That data never leaves your browser unless you copy it yourself. Clearing site data for chipratio.pages.dev removes those preferences. The site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

## Information we do not collect

ChipRatio does not create user accounts, does not ask for a password, and does not process payments inside the calculator. It does not embed third-party advertising pixels, social sharing trackers, or analytics products that identify you across sites. Optional tips via Buy Me a Coffee happen on that third party’s site under their own privacy policy; ChipRatio does not receive your payment card details.

## Hosting and network logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most content delivery networks, Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) for security, caching, and reliability. ChipRatio does not operate a separate analytics dashboard that profiles individual calculator users. Machine-readable files such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and llms.txt are public by design.
