About ChipRatio
Every home game starts with the same question: how many of each color does everyone get, and what is a chip worth? ChipRatio answers that on the spot. It is a free poker chip calculator built for hosts running cash games and tournaments at the kitchen table, not for casinos or online rooms.
ChipRatio runs entirely in your browser. Enter player count, buy-in, and the chips in your case. It returns per-player stacks, real-money chip values you can say out loud (10¢ white, not 28¢ white), blinds that sound normal at the table, leftovers still in the case, and a short message you can paste into the group chat. Cash mode treats chips as money with fixed blinds. Tournament mode treats chips as points and picks round starting stacks with a sensible blind ladder.
What ChipRatio does not do: it does not track pots, payouts, rake, or bankrolls. It is a math utility for splitting a chip case, not a gambling service. There are no ads, no signup walls, and no server-side analytics collecting your game inputs.
The project is open source under the MIT license at GitHub. You can read the code, run it locally, fork it, or open issues and pull requests. If the tool saved your night, optional support is welcome on Buy Me a Coffee; the site stays free either way.
