Privacy on ChipRatio

ChipRatio is built so your game details do not need to leave your device for the calculator to work.

Local computation

Buy-in amounts, player counts, and chip-set math run in your browser when you use the app at chipratio.pages.dev. ChipRatio does not send those inputs to its own backend for calculation. There is no account system and no login.

Browser storage

Preferences such as theme and remembered chip set options may be stored in your browser localStorage under a ChipRatio key. That data stays on your device and is not uploaded for cloud sync. Clear site data in your browser if you want to reset preferences.

No sale of data

ChipRatio does not sell personal information. The calculator page is not wrapped in signup forms or ad networks. Trust pages and the app are written to avoid third-party tracking pixels and cross-site analytics scripts aimed at profiling visitors.

Hosting

Static files are served on Cloudflare Pages. Any website host may log basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, time) in CDN or edge logs. ChipRatio does not add a separate server-side analytics product on top of your game inputs.

Third-party links

GitHub and Buy Me a Coffee, plus other outbound links, have their own privacy policies. Read those sites before signing in, paying, or submitting data there.
